of the Tower and see the execution site on Tower Hill. |

We explore the south side of the Strand and the Thames and
see how the river has been pushed back in the nineteenth century.
Churches and palaces, history and literature, opera and musicals,
they are all on this short walk along one of the most interesting
sections of the river Thames. Please note that this walk involves
